Breast Cancer Awareness Health Talk with Dubai Holding

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer, its prevention, early detection, and treatment. Several healthcare facilities have launched free early detection campaigns and provided discussion sessions and health talks hosted by doctors specializing in this field to promote breast cancer awareness in the community. On 26th October 2022, Almadallah Healthcare Management took an active role in organizing a health talk to raise awareness about this disease, held at Dubai Holding headquarters. Dr Fidan Al Hurmuzi, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from Dubai London Hospital was invited as the speaker. Through this session, Dr. Fidan highlighted the early detection programs for the symptoms of the disease and the importance of conducting a mammogram and periodic breast self-examination with a strongly emphasizing to consult specialist doctor in case of any abnormal breast changes.
